We have complied a list of events happening over the Jubilee Weekend, including the list created by Filey Town Council.

These are the ones we have been made aware of but there could be more. Keep checking our social media for updates.

Friday 3rd June Bandstand Crescent Gardens Ramshackle Shantymen 2pm


Saturday 4th June from 12 noon Bandstand Crescent Gardens 12 – 1pm Filey Showgroup 2pm – 3.30pm Passion Praise Churches Together Concert


Sunday 5th June Special Service of Thanksgiving

Holy Communion 9am Jubilee Service of Thanksgiving 10.30am St Oswalds, Filey


Songs of Praise St Thomas, Gristhorpe

Sunday 5th June from 12 noon

Bandstand Crescent Gardens 12 – 1pm Filey Showgroup 2pm – 4pm Malton White Star Band concert


Sunday 5th June 2pm-4pm St John's Garden Party Garden party in the garden of St John's (in the centre if wet). Bring along your picnic, chairs, blankets etc.

We will finish with a short Songs of Praise and an act of thanksgiving.

Saturday 4th June Cross Hill Hunmanby Hunmanby Silver Band, stalls refreshments etc 10.30am Competition Judging: Best Fancy dress Queen and Prince, Painted crowns, Decorated bunting.

11.00am Hunmanby Silver Band.

12.00 noon Drama Group: The Coronation.

12.30pm Hunmanby Silver Band

1.00pm Drama Group: The Battle of Hastings.

1.20pm The Hunmanbees... Superb local band.

2.20pm Garage Dance Studio

2.40pm Cayton Calypso

3pm Fitbox

Saturday 6th June Anvil Arms Family BBQ – 3.30 p.m. onwards (meat supplied by Elston’s Butchers, Driffield). Adults: £5, Children: £2.50. Ring 01262 470279 to book. Music with Ella Stubbings and Friends – any local acts welcome.


Sunday 5th June Back Street Starts 3pm with a Treasure Hunt followed by music, crown & flag-making, Jubilee Quiz and Children’s & Adult’s races. Bring & share food table. Bring own drink and table & chairs. Post replies in the ‘Special Jubilee Post Box’ in the Bus Shelter or respond on the Wold Newton Community Facebook Page.
