Happy 2 Help Community Care Limited, of Filey, really do cherish their carers, but apparently that does not stop them from being thrown out of an aeroplane at 10,000 feet.
Tanya Fawcett is organising the event, and on 17 June 2023 at 14:00 two of the ‘daredevil’ carers, namely Dee and Maddie are taking the dive to raise funds for Happy 2 Help Community Care very own minibus.
The minibus will provide transport for their service users and anyone struggling to out of their home across the North Yorkshire area, and this includes residents in rural areas, so they do not feel left out.
The aim of raising the funds for the minibus is to collect and take participants to attractions and places of interest – in essence fun days!
With hopefully good weather ahead, this could be a simple picnic in the park to allow folks to socialise with others, safely and supported by carers, who will ensure individual needs are taken care of.
